TGOC 2014: Live action!

Today is Tuesday this walk will start in 3 days time on Friday 9th May. Through the magic of SocialHiking I hope to plot my progress here.

Before I start there will not be much to see - the planned routes are here - but come back regularly to see how reality unfolds.

And my bird has flown!

This is the sight that presented itself when I switched on the PC this afternoon. 

At 6:30am some of them were being tempted to the entrance of the box by the food treats offered by the  parents.

Shortly after the first couple fluttered up and left the box.

Those left behind seemed a bit lost without the squash of their missing siblings.

Four hours later just two birds remained.

 But not abandoned! The parents still brought food to them.

 

Finally around 10:40 these two took the plunge!

 All eight of the birds left today.

It's getting might crowded!
