    I'm sad to relate I misread the Email from Roger Smith

    ... "A special welcome to the newcomers, to those returning after quite a few years away and also to Dave on your 10th crossing. This means you (and your team!) are spared the agony of the draw for places. "

    Lucky Dave! I thought it also applied to me, but I have to wait some more so I've put (that) map away, and planning a few days of November wild-camping in the Lakes instead.
