Plant Quiz! - What is it?

One of the great bargains of out time is the 'lucky-dip' seed mixture. This is a product from last years packet - one of several mysteries dominating my garden right now. What is it? Information welcome!

    Thanks Mole! I looked in my big book of plants and there is certainly a resemblance. The flowers are quite spectacular but spikes are not as long and as upright as the picture in the book. In fact the plant is rather enormous and droopey. I'll add a couple more pictures.
